The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon, first released in 2001, has been inspired by the great cricketing history of this vineyard. The wines consistently show great line and length. The nose leads with aromas of fresh tobacco leaf, cassis, boysenberry and spice. A silk like entry on the palate with super fine, detailed tannin, ripe berried fruits, a hint of tobacco and the classic brambles of Clare Cabernet to finish.

The Private Bin series has been inspired by the McGuigan family tradition to always share a special family wine with their guest. The soft and velvety Merlot combined with the more powerful Cabernet Sauvignon grapes produces a luscious red wine. Deep crimson in colour with aromas of blackcurrant, mint, spiced fruit, cinnamon and vanilla flavours.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grape varietal is widely planted across South Australia's premium wine regions, particularly in the Limestone Coast where grapes with tremendous structure and beautiful aromatics are found. Well-regarded since its launch in 2002, the Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the merits of multi-regional blending to Penfolds 'House Style'. A bold, full bodied wine displaying lovely aromatics, excellent structure, and great length.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

Deep ruby in colour, this Cabernet Sauvignon opens with rich, concentrated aromas of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, cocoa, and sweet spices. Soft, chewy tannins lead to a long, lush finish. Ageing select lots in bourbon whiskey barrels enhances the finish of smoke, sweet spice, and cocoa when added to the final blend. This Cabernet Shiraz brings together two of Australia's biggest wine regions, Coonawara and Barossa Valley, to create a perfectly blended wine that is seamless, deep and complex. The bouquet of dark forest fruits such as plum, blueberry and cassis lead into a beautifully complex palate of blackcurrent, sweet plum and chalky tannins. There is a underlying savoury oak hint and a finish of lingering dark chocolate.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

This is a rich full-bodied wine yet at the same time, remains in balanced across the palate with fine, elegant tannins – the hallmark of great Cabernet.
