You will need:

  • 1 tbsp Klipdrift
  • 350gm chicken livers
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 brown onion (quartered)
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 250gm butter

To make:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the chicken livers, brown onion, garlic, thyme and pepper. Add boiling water to cover the ingredients and cook for 10 minutes on medium - high
  2. Transfer the ingredients to a mixing bowl. Add butter and mix ingredients into a smooth paste, add Klipdrift and mox for another 20 seconds
  3. Place in the refridgerator until firm
