The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. Roaring Meg Sauvignon Blanc is reminiscent of Central Otago. Lifted and vibrant notes of guava, passionfruit and pineapple with fresh herbal elements give this wine its classic Sauvignon Blanc profile. Juicy, ripe and bold flavours race across the palate, followed by a mineral and saline finish to lengthen the palate. Best enjoyed with Bluff oysters.

Supple gooseberry notes introduces the wine before moving into a broadly textured mid-palate. A lovely acid line drives passionfruit flavours on the finish.

Montana Affinity Sauvignon Blanc retains the full flavour and aromas typical of their Sauvignon Blanc, but made in a low alcohol expression. On the palate the crisp acidity coupled with a textural sweetness which is reminiscent of fresh grapefruit. Texturally the wine is punctuated by a light spritz that stimulated the palate, lifting the aromas and flavours, providing a carefree, refreshing sip.

Pale straw colour with a hint of gold. This Gisborne Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit and subtle herbaceousness. The palate displays flavours of melon, dried herb and subtle passionfruit. The wine finishes with a richness and fullness seen only in good Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp and clean this is our most successful vintage of Sauvignon blanc and is perfectly suited to the local Te Matuku Oysters which are farmed close to Man O' War, or similarly the abundant seafood that thrive in the surrounding coastal waters.

The wine shows a complex interplay of tropical fruit characters with elements of passion-fruit, mango and paw paw, supported by impressions of ripe gooseberries and dried herbs. It is fruity and mouth filling but yet has a refreshing spine of crisp acidity which keeps it focussed and helps draw out its length.
